Are you on 500px?
I just created a 500px account and I must say I'm impressed by its simplicity and clean design. I also like its popularity system.
After more than 10 years in deviantart, I'm starting to be tired of its lack of development/evolution. The website looks 10 years old, the stats system is antique, previews keep changing colors for no reason, photography seems lost in the middle of manga drawings and other type or arts and last but not least: I think the "Groups" system killed everything I use to like in DA. I have the feeling that to get some visibility and not to get lost in the flood of pictures I need to add a given pictures to dozens of grou
New camera / New travels
I recently sold my Canon 5D mkii to buy a 6D. It wasn't easy as I really loved my 5D. There is a lot of discussions here and there regarding the differences between those two models. the 6D has a few major drawbacks but after a good look I realised none of them would really affect me. In fact, the few advantages the 6D has over the 5Dmkii were important to me. I didn't need the better AF system of the 5D (I only shoot with the center AF point), I don't shoot sport and I don't really care about the difference of material when it's in my hand.
I do care about GPS, much better low light performances and low weight. Therefore I changed for the 6
