I was walking in the "old" town in Shanghai and this calligraphy teacher (who was passing by) asked me where I was from and he then took me for one hour around Yu garden and explained my everything about the temple and the various gods and divinity. He was very surprised and happy to see I was curious about their culture and habits hence he then brought me to his place and offered me Chinese tea. He showed me his skills in calligraphy and I could take a few pictures while he was working. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip in China. An amazing hospitality. I don't think it would ever happen in the cities here around.. :-/
